⌘ Download on the App StoreKoiOrigami ("the app") is a paper-folding puzzle game. This page explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information. We've kept it short because the app itself is simple: there's no account, no ads, and no analytics SDKs collecting data about you.
Your progress is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves it unless you choose to share something yourself. This includes:
Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no server-side account system, so we have no copy of it to delete on our end.
Photo Library (add-only). If you tap Save or Share on a finished fold, the app writes that one image to your Photos library. The app never reads your existing photos and only writes when you explicitly ask it to.
The current version of KoiOrigami makes no network requests at all. Everything you see — levels, the Daily Challenge, your progress — runs entirely on your device.
A future version will add an optional in-app "activity" page for things like announcements or seasonal events. When that ships, the app will check our server and send your app version number (e.g. 1.0.0) so it can decide whether to show anything; as with any network request, your device's IP address is visible to that server in the normal course of the request, but we will not link it to any profile or store it for tracking. We'll update this page with the change before that version is released.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. There is no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it doesn't need one.
KoiOrigami does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no account creation, no chat, and no user-generated content shared with others.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
